Great piece on atheism in Lexington, one of the Economist magazine’s weekly editorial columns. Please take a look- and see what it suggests towards the end about the how Christians can sometimes make non-Christians feel. Would love to hear your thoughts right here after you read!
Just thought I’d link this story up, since we seemed to have an impact on this online listener and her story. It’s always great to hear about the journeys of faith that people make; it reminds us that no two people have the same story, and no two come about their faith in quite the same way. It’s encouraging to know that God handles everyone differently, and not with cookie-cutter legalism like some would have us believe.
An interesting video that was passed along to me by an online listener. You all know who this is, and if you don’t, you can read about him here. And if you don’t know what this man believes, you can read about that here.
This, friends, is the impression we can make on the world around us when we don’t act like assholes. Penn wasn’t converted, but that doesn’t matter. This man who spoke to Penn did exactly what he was called to do. Nothing more, nothing less. That’s all.
…and a picture of myself with Penn Jillette from 2005, just for fun.
